Similarly to the 6mm bots, I wanted some 15mm versions not packing a heavy arsenal so that they can stand in for a greater variety of android opponents. I had a few copies of one Alternative Armies bot, and bought a pack from Ground Zero Games.
I had enough to easily cover one battle’s worth of minis in 5 Parsecs from Home, so kept back a copy of each mini to paint up as a potential crew member with a less uniform scheme.
These lingered on my painting table for ages. Turns out a humanoid form isn’t enough to drag a series of minis out of the non-human category I find dull to paint, and it took me far too long to get round to doing the last edge highlight and base drybrush.
